Solar & battery
Solar and battery electrical permit packet
Solar and battery jobs live or die on the one-line. The reviewer needs the inverter, the interconnection method, the backfeed breaker, and how the battery sits on the bus — drawn with the panels and the service, not as a separate sketch.
Interconnection on the same set
PermitPak places the inverter, battery, and grounding electrode system on the single line with the meter and the main. The load list carries the PV and storage equipment so the calc and the diagram cannot disagree about what is installed.
If the project is a service upgrade plus solar, you walk in both. The packet is one revision, one document ID, one verify link.
Not a standalone solar stamp
This is the electrical permit set that accompanies the solar installation — load, panels, and one-line — not a PE stamp or a fire-set. You remain the named preparer.
What ships in the packet
Every job produces six 11×17 sheets: cover, general electrical notes, single line diagram, panel schedules, electrical load calculation, and utility service data. The title block carries your company, license, and revision history.
A residential set is $89. Multifamily and commercial are priced from unit count and floor area. Corrections and re-downloads stay free on that job.
