Electrical permit sets, drafted in minutes
Focus on the job,not the paperwork.
Walk the project in like you would with your estimator: address, scope, loads, service. PermitPak drafts the full submittal set under your title block — load calc, panel schedules, single line diagram, and the utility form, per the 2025 CEC.
Built for C-10s, designers, and PEs pulling electrical permits in LA, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, and LA County.
Mostly ADUs and garage subpanels now — rarely enough for a whole house.
0AFits a 100A service
Real CEC 220.82 math, from the same engine that drafts your set.

A complete submittal set, not a calculator printout.
Real output from the drawing engine, at 11×17, under your title block, license, and revision history.
Minutes instead of days
Faster permitting, better margins
Accelerate every submittal.
0X
faster to a plan-check-ready set.
Minutes of answering questions instead of an evening in CAD.
Cut the drafting work.
0%
less time drawing, checking, and re-checking.
The calc, the schedules, and the one-line are generated together from one set of inputs.
Keep the margin on the job.
0X
return against what a shop charges to draft the same set.
$89 for a residential set, against the $350 to $1,500 a drafting shop bills.
Comparisons are against drafting a set by hand or sending it out. A residential set is $89 against the $350 to $1,500 drafting shops typically charge — roughly 4X at the low end and past 15X at the high end, so 5X is the conservative middle. Your own figures depend on your rate and scope.
How PermitPak works
Answer the job, get the set.
The same questions you would answer for your estimator. No CAD, no template hunting, no re-typing the address on six sheets.
About five minutes
- [01]
Address and jurisdiction
Type the address. PermitPak picks up the AHJ, the serving utility, and the code edition that applies, so the set is drafted to the right rules from the first sheet.
- [02]
Scope and building
New, addition or remodel, or a service upgrade. Occupancy, floor area, and unit count decide which Article 220 method the engine is allowed to use.
- [03]
Loads
Pick from the appliance catalog, or photograph your handwritten notes and let the scan fill the list. Nothing advances until you confirm what it read.
- [04]
Panels
Main and subpanels, bus and main breaker sizes, locations. This is what becomes the panel schedule sheet and the one-line.
- [05]
Service
Voltage, overhead or underground, copper or aluminium. The engine sizes the conductors, the neutral, the ground, and the conduit.

Inside the set
Every number carries its citation.
Plan check does not have to take your word for it, and neither do you. This is what the sheets actually look like.
Demand factors, cited line by line
Every row shows connected VA, the demand factor applied, and the code reference behind it. The method is chosen by the engine and named on the sheet.
Schedules that match the one-line
Circuits, breakers, and VA per pole, with connected totals and phase imbalance worked out. Generated from the same data as the diagram, so the two cannot disagree.
A document ID anyone can check
Each set carries an ID and a verify link. Anybody holding the paper can confirm the address, the calculated load, and the preparer against the issued record.

Questions plan check asks too
Who is PermitPak for?
C-10 electrical contractors, designers, and engineers pulling electrical permits — mostly residential, ADU, service upgrades, multifamily, and light commercial tenant improvements.
Who signs and stamps the set?
You do. PermitPak drafts the set under your title block and license. As the named preparer, the inputs and field conditions are yours to stand behind, the same as any set that leaves your office.
Which jurisdictions are covered?
Los Angeles and the surrounding area — LADBS, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, and unincorporated LA County — with LADWP as the serving utility on the utility sheet.
What happens when plan check sends corrections?
Fix the note, bump the revision, and download the whole set again. Revisions are unlimited on every project and never cost extra.
What is in a packet?
Six 11×17 sheets: cover, general electrical notes, single line diagram, panel schedules, electrical load calculation, and utility service data.
Which code edition is used?
The 2025 California Electrical Code, plus the local amendments for the jurisdiction on the project. The editions applied are printed on the cover sheet.
What is the document ID on each sheet?
Every generated set carries an ID and a verify link. Anyone holding a copy can check the address, calculated load, and preparer against the record we issued, which makes an altered set easy to spot.
When do I pay?
After you generate the set. A residential packet is $89; commercial is priced from the floor area. Unlock that exact job, or subscribe to Pro for unlimited projects. Revisions on a paid set stay free.
