E-1.0

Single line diagram for an electrical permit set

A permit one-line is not a sketch. It has to show the utility, the meter, the main disconnect, every panel, the feeders, and any solar, battery, or EV equipment — on an 11×17 sheet with a title block a reviewer can stamp.

Drawn from the same inputs as the calc

PermitPak lays the diagram out from the panels and loads you already entered. The main breaker, bus ratings, and feeder sizes on E-1.0 are the same numbers as E-2.0 and E-3.0. If you change a panel, the one-line changes with it.

The sheet is generated from hand-designed layout templates, not a generic box-and-line dump. Service drop or underground, copper or aluminum, and the grounding electrode system are part of the drawing.

What reviewers mark up

Missing subpanels, a solar inverter that does not appear, or a main that does not match the calc are the usual redlines. Because the diagram is rebuilt from the project file, a correction is a revision note — not a redraw in CAD.
